Welcome to the August edition of Prostate News!
In this issue, David Sandoe OAM, former PCFA National Chairman and his son Mark Sandoe shared their story about being diagnosed with prostate cancer and the importance for men to talk to their doctor about their prostate health – particularly if there is a family history of prostate cancer.
We are also pleased to introduce our readers to Associate Professor Natalka Suchowerska, whose ground-breaking work was made possible thanks to the generosity of Mather Foundation.
Associate Professor Nick Ralph contributed to this edition of the newsletter with an article about Survivorship – the overarching theme of the upcoming Prostate Cancer Awareness Month this September.
