The Purpose of our Support Group

We offer a place where men, their partners, families and carers who have been affected by prostate cancer can give and receive help, information and support for their prostate cancer journey. We provide an environment of caring and mutual respect where we can discuss shared experiences to learn more about prostate cancer, coping with the disease and how to manage it. Support is provided for those dealing with a new diagnosis of prostate cancer and for those who have already undergone treatment. Our group focuses on members sharing their personal experiences and learnings from their prostate cancer journeys but regularly have health professionals provide presentations on specific topics such as incontinence, sexual health and mental wellbeing.
