Prostate cancer research has advanced significantly in 2018. Clinical trials have demonstrated the success of new treatments, and new uses for existing treatments. Basic research, in laboratories and with mice, has led to a vital new understanding of metastatic prostate cancer. These studies have uncovered weaknesses that can be exploited by new treatments. Our first blog this year describes the top 10 prostate cancer research stories of 2018, as judged by PCFA staff.
